Every quarter, we donate 1% of our revenue to an organization doing outstanding environmental work in Maui and Hawaii.

The backstory: In Maui Huliau, We see an organization educating the youth on the environment WHILE actually solving real problems on our island, and we think wow that’s hard to beat. After all, the environmental crisis won’t solve itself, and it’s becoming clear that our youth will bear the brunt of the responsibility to clean up this mess. We could not be more behind an environmentally educated youth that understands how to take real action.
Here’s what gets us excited about Maui Huliau
Youth. We already mentioned it above, but year in and year our, Huliau educates youth leaders to spread environmental stewardship and programs island wide.
Zero Waste & Green Events – The Huliau Green Events program is designed to treat event waste as a resource, and to divert an average of 80% of that waste from the landfill! By doing this, they keep our land and oceans free of plastic, reduce an event’s carbon footprint, and educate the public about the many alternatives to sending waste to the landfill. We used Green Events for our launch party.
They help grads find careers in conservation on Maui
They run an incredible filmmaking club as well as hosting a youth film festival every year. Their YouTube channel has over 100 student-created videos
Their list of programs goes on – climate Literacy, leadership council, environmental internships, summer programs, and more.
